Krista Cooper is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Florida, and a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience bridging the worlds of therapy and yoga. She holds a Master’s in Holistic Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and a BA in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.

In her clinical practice, Krista supports individuals and couples through life transitions, anxiety, and emotional growth, integrating mind-body approaches such as somatic psychology, mindfulness, and relational work to deepen healing. As a yoga teacher and Co-Founder of Kula Yoga Academy and Kula Yoga + Coffee, she has guided students of all levels in alignment, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy, emphasizing accessibility, embodiment, and transformational practice.

Krista’s unique approach combines evidence-based therapy with the tools of yoga and a holistic approach, helping clients and students access deeper layers of self-awareness, regulation, and resilience. Through her work, she empowers mental health professionals to integrate yoga, breath, and mindfulness practices into their own lives and clinical work, creating holistic pathways for personal and professional growth.
